NameBadges.com will process and ship standard orders within 3 to 5 business days, Monday through Friday.
All U.S. orders are shipped via USPS unless otherwise requested by the customer at time of order. Mexico and Canada orders are shipped via UPS and DHL respectively. Customer agrees that the risk of loss and title for any product passes to customer upon our delivery to the shipping carrier. Namebadges.com is not responsible for any delays in shipping once the product leaves our facility.
- It is the customer’s sole responsibility to review billing and shipping information provided to Namebadges.com prior to submitting your order. NameBadges.com will not be responsible for reshipping packages at our expense due to missing information or typographical errors. If a package is returned to NameBadges.com due to incorrect shipping information, we will contact customer and reship the package at your expense.

Shipments to Canada and Mexico
Requirement for Tax Identification Number (Tax ID/TIN) on International Shipments
A valid Tax Identification Number (Tax ID or TIN) must be provided before any international shipment can be processed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. These requirements are outside of our control, and your assistance helps us deliver your orders smoothly and on time.
Why Is a Tax ID Required?
Customs authorities in many countries now mandate that all imported goods be accompanied by the recipient’s Tax ID/TIN. This is part of global efforts to improve import compliance, reduce fraud, and ensure proper assessment of duties and taxes. Providing a valid Tax ID:
- Ensures clearance without unnecessary delays
- Prevents shipments from being returned or held at customs
- Helps avoid additional storage, demurrage, or brokerage fees
- Supports faster and more reliable delivery
Consequences of Not Providing a Tax ID/TIN
Failure to provide a valid Tax ID/TIN can result in serious delays and financial consequences, including:
- Customs Clearance Delays: Shipments may be held indefinitely until the proper documentation is received.
- Return to Sender: In some countries, customs may return the shipment to the U.S. if no Tax ID/TIN is provided within a specific timeframe.
- Storage Fees: Warehouses or customs facilities may charge daily storage or demurrage fees, which are the recipient’s responsibility.
- Inability to Receive Shipment: Certain countries will not release packages without a registered importer or business tax number.
Country specific requirements
- Canada: Requires the recipient’s SSN (individual) or BN (business) number. Without it, shipments may be returned.
- Mexico: Effective January 1, 2025, it is mandated to include a RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) or CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) number for most imports. Without it, goods may be held or seized
Returns
Stock and Non-Personalized Items
Items can be returned if Dispute Notification occurred within the prescribed time-frame following order receipt. Upon Customer Service approval of the dispute, you will receive a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number before shipping any product back.
You are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless an error has been made by NameBadges.com (in which case special arrangements will be made to cover shipping costs). If the return is not the fault of NameBadges.com, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed against the refund to be issued to customer once product is received and found to be in resalable condition. Please use a traceable and/or insurable carrier for your return shipments, as NameBadges.com is not liable for lost or misdirected shipments sent to us.
Custom or Personalized Items
Due to their unique nature, custom and personalized items are not refundable. Please review your proof(s) carefully prior to submitting an order. Your approval of a proof constitutes your acceptance of an order meeting the specifications as listed on the proof. If your order does not match the specifications listed on the proof or there is another type of defect however, we will correct the order at no cost to you. If, however, the error was not the fault of NameBadges.com, the order shall be considered complete and payment is expected in full.
